About Us

Established in 2016 DeskRenter provides convenient, serviced workspaces in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. The two historic towns contain many fine buildings of architectural and historical interest. Our portfolio of premises includes Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian style buildings.

By choosing these heritage sites we seek to provide curated workspaces that are a little different to a standard office – where the individual character has been retained. Many have original features that have been restored as we seek to create a working environment that has a little more personality than the norm.

Through our choice of buildings with high ceilings and large windows members are provided with light, bright and airy spaces, which we complement with work by locally based artists.

Across our Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells hubs we have seven individual properties, 170 desks in various sized rooms,  which gives flexibility to members to move and change spaces as their requirements evolve.

A start-up business might begin at a hot desk 1 day a week before moving to a dedicated  desk,  then a private room that they can personalise with their own company branding. Being a DeskRenter member provides options however a company develops.

Each member can also take advantage of facilities in other buildings, such as meeting rooms if needed. They are also welcome at our professional development and social events held (predominantly) at The House in Tunbridge Wells.
