From time to time, lightning talks are held at The House, Tunbridge Wells, in order to enhance the skills of both the housemates, their customers and clients and interested associates.

These talks bring together guest speakers, experts in their field and professionals in relevant subject matter.

Scott Purchas – Scott hosted this particular meeting in front of a full and captivated lunchtime audience. His perceptive and jargon-free talk covered a number of basic issues regarding Facebook advertising, including the phenomena of why, after connecting with various sites, one is followed by a stream of associated adverts, and how your surfing and purchasing habits are followed by social media outlets.

His insightful talk – for beginners and experts alike – also explained the basics of generic Facebook advertising, adverts and how to cash in from them from a business perspective.

The House is a co-working space for creative businesses in the centre of Tunbridge Wells, including single or shared offices, and hot-desking facilities. Nearest parking is Crescent Road car park and within easy walking distance of The House.
